Bopla! has been manufactured in Langenthal (pronounced langenthal) Switzerland since 1992. This concept is similar to the “Swatch” where a familiar item has been re-invented. They have introduced many series of designs over the years, making Bopla! very collectable in addition to being functional. Some of the older pieces have been selling for many times their original cost on eBay. It is a very hard, durable porcelain, dishwasher and microwave safe. Bopla! is used in many restaurants, so you know it can take a beating. We encourage people to mix and match and take advantage of the colors and whimsy of the designs. Each piece is produced in three background colors: black, blue and yellow. It is hard to select a combination that doesn’t look good. We also have a limited selection of older designs, and Bopla!
