to exclaim Meagan Miller met the virtuosic demands of the role, her dramatic
coloratura soaring to high Bs and occasional Ds With the ring of a perfectly cast bell. |

In the 2001-2002 season Miller returns to Syracuse Opera to perform
the role Marguerite in Faust, sings her first Violetta in La traviata with Gold Coast Opera,
and the title role of Susannah with Eugene Opera. Miller also sings Rosalinda in Die
Fledermaus and Carmina Burana with the National Chorale at Avery Fisher Hall in New
York City. |

Miller performed in Beethovens Symphony No.9 at the Hollywood Bowl
during the summer of 2000. Her operatic engagements for the 2000-2001 Season include
a performance with the Nashville Opera and her first performances of three new roles:
Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte with Syracuse Opera; and both Donna Anna in Don Giovanni
and Rosalinda in Dei Fledermaus with the Ash-Lawn Highland Summer Festival. |

Miller is a 1999 winner of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions.
She is also a winner of a Robert Jacobsen Study Grant from the Richard Tucker music
Foundation, the Liederkranz Foundation competition, and the joy in singing Award. Ms. Miller
is a graduate of the Juilliard School. |
