Jennifer Rivera most recently performed the title role in Cinderella with the Juilliard
Opera Center, where she has also performed Phenice and Melisse in Glucks
Armide. Recent engagements include performing Siebel in Faust with
Cincinnati Opera and covering the role of Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni with the
Berkshire Opera Company. Rivera will debut with New York City Opera this spring, when she
performs Countess Ceprano in Rigoletto, Lucien in Die Tode Stadt and covers
Zerlina in Don Giovanni. Rivera who received her MM from The Juilliard School and
her BM from Boston University, has been presented in recital in New York City by the Marilyn
Horne Foundations On Wings of Song recital series, which was broadcast on New
Yorks WQXR. She performed as a Young Artist with the Opera Theatre of St. Louis, at
the Tanglewood Music Center as a Vocal Fellow and as a student of the Music Academy of the West.
